Mission C CBD Oil

Mission C CBD oils are made with both broad spectrum CBD and CBD isolate. They are free of artificial preservatives, GMOs, and pesticides. Their broad-spectrum products, as is the case of their Post-Workout CBD oil and their Night CBD oil, contain all-natural hemp extracts such as Cannabidiol (CBD), CBDv (Cannabidivarine), CBG (Cannabigerol), CBC (Cannabichromen) and CBT (Cannabicitran), as well as terpenes , flavonoids and natural omega acids. However, they are THC-free because they have undergone an additional filtration process to remove unwanted THC, plant waxes, and chlorophyll.

Their products are made with hemp grown in Arizona (USA) and the company use state-of-the-art supercritical CO2 and ethanol extraction technology to produce the cannabis extracts used their CBD oils.

When buying Mission C CBD oil, you can be sure it is of the highest quality and potency as they only use the very best hemp plants grown on licensed and organic farms. Their hemp is free of pesticides, toxins, herbicides, and heavy metals.

All their products focus on maximising the entourage effect – a physiological phenomenon wherein the properties of active hemp compounds appear to be more powerful when consumed together rather than by themselves individually – through the preservation of synergy between the plants cannabinoids, terpenoids and flavonoids.

If you have not yet tried Mission C CBD Oils, check them out. Their Night CBD Oil will help you get a deeper and more regenerative night sleep, whilst their Post-Workout CBD Oil will reduce inflammation and help with both muscle recovery and pain!

Whilst Mission C have only been in business since 2020, they have already developed a wide range of high-quality products, including CBD oils, CBD gummies and CBD skincare products.

In the CBD oils range, Mission C has focused on both broad-spectrum and isolate products, available in different strengths and two bottle sizes – 10ml and 30ml.

Mission C CBD oils are broken down into 4 categories:

  • Physical Health CBD Oils: Mission C health range has been designed to seamlessly fit into anyone’s daily routine. These CBD oils aid recuperation, ease muscle and joint stiffness, and CBD extracts are blended with the best naturally sourced ingredients like Arnica, Camphor and Black Pepper.
  • Mental Health CBD Oils: This range has been developed to help you feel at your best every single day. It comprises of a day time and overnight CBD oils which have been blended with vitamins, herbs and other natural ingredients such as Vitamin D, Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba and Echinacea to help balance your mind and body.

Each product is designed to reduce inflammation, improve sleep and accelerate physical and mental recovery.

All their CBD oils come in either 10ml or 30ml bottles, each containing a different type of CBD or strength – mainly broad spectrum and CBD isolate – so be sure to check the product type and concentration before buying to ensure you are selecting the most appropriate CBD oils for you needs.

Mission C Night Oil 10% retails at £54.99 (£0.055 per mg) and Mission C Post-Workout Oil 10% at £99.99 (£0.033 per mg).

As with other brands, we would always recommend going for the higher concentration oil as it will usually work out cheaper in the long run. For example Mission C Post-Workout Oil 5% retails at £34.99 (£0.07 per mg) whilst Mission C Post-Workout Oil 20% retails at £149.99 (£0.025 per mg). so gong for the 20% oil is 64% cheaper than the 5% oil per milligram of CBD.

Mission C CBD Oil Efficacy

The CBD Unboxed review focused on two products. Mission C Post Workout CBD Oil 1500mg (5% concentration with hemp coconut MCT oil carrier) was used in the morning and post workout to assess the efficacy of this product line for hip pain, whilst Mission C Night CBD Oil 1000mg was used before going to bed.

Both CBD oils which contain all the natural hemp extracts such as Cannabidiol (CBD), CBDv (Cannabidivarin), CBG (Cannabigerol), CBC (Cannabichromene) and CBT (Cannabicitran), as well as the naturally-occurring terpenes, flavonoids, and Omega acids. Since these are broad spectrum products, they have undergone an additional filtration process to remove unwanted THC, making them 100% THC-free.

During the two-week period, we took 20mg of CBD in the morning on an empty stomach, followed by 10mg at lunchtime and a further 10mg of their Night CBD Oil an hour before bedtime, giving us a total of 40mg of CBD per day.

Mission C CBD Oil for Pain Relief

If you’re looking to use CBD oil for its analgesic (i.e. to relieve pain) and anti-inflammatory properties, look no further than Mission C CBD oils, as their products are some of the best ones available in the UK.

Just leave Mission C oil under your tongue for 30-60 seconds. This allows for rapid absorption into the bloodstream and in most cases you should start to feel the pain relief, relaxation or drowsiness effects within 20-30 minutes.

By taking 40mg of their CBD oil, broken down throughout the day (morning, lunchtime, evening), it provided me with incredible pain relief and it allowed me to simply get on with my day without having to worry about hip pain or discomfort. I was able to stay active during our two-week product review, and even on days when I increased my physical activity, I was able to do it without discomfort.

Simply put, this is one of the best CBD oils I have used in the last 5 years. Best of all, I was able to quit taking traditional painkillers, which is a win for my book when you know how they can harm you in the long run, especially when it comes to your gut microbiome.

Mission C Oil for Sleep

So how did Mission C Night CBD Oil perform when it comes to improving sleep?

CBD works with the human body to increase calm, decrease stress, and lower anxiety levels. These responses indirectly improve your sleep. In the 1990s, researchers confirmed the body has an endocannabinoid system or ECS, a complex cell-signalling system consisting of endocannabinoids, cannabinoid receptors, and enzymes. Scientists believe it plays many roles, including maintaining balance in the body. When it comes to sleep, the ECS helps regulate sleep and sleep cycles.

Mission C Night Oil is infused with natural Passionflower, Chamomile and Myrcene, compounds that help promote natural, deep and healthy sleep. By taking between 10 to 15mg of CBD oil about 30 minutes before going to bed, I have found not only easier to fall asleep, but also easier to sleep through the night. Waking up feeling refreshed was amazing and unlike other CBD oils I have used in the past for sleep or insomnia, I did not have any vivid dream.

Other Benefits of Mission C CBD

While in the UK CBD has been classified as a ‘novel food’ and is therefore not a medicine prescribed to treat specific conditions, CBD oil has been shown to have several health benefits.

The human body contains a specialized system known as the ECS (endocannabinoid system), whose purpose is to regulate various functions such as sleep, appetite, pain, and the immune system responses. The body also makes endocannabinoids, which are simply neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors in your nervous system.

CBD is thought to interact with specific receptors, specifically the CB1R and CB2R.

  • CB1 receptors, located in different regions of the body, are highly concentrated in the central nervous system and brain, regulating mood, emotions, appetite, and other functions.
  • CB2 receptors are found most abundantly in the immune system and are responsible for controlling inflammation and pain. CBD stimulates these receptors and causes the body to release serotonin.

Serotonin, or 5HT, is a neurotransmitter that carries signals from one neuron to another. CBD increases serotonin levels, thus helping to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and provide a host of other health benefits, including:

  • CBD for Stress: CBD helps reduce stress and calm the body and mind, through its interaction with the hippocampus and amygdala.
  • CBD for Anxiety: CBD has both anti-anxiety and anti-depressant properties, and can be a great alternative to anxiety medications with known side effects.
  • CBD for Headaches: CBD reduces headache frequency, reduces stress, and improves sleep, two major headache triggers. But CBD also has strong analgesic (pain reliever) and antiemetic (prevents vomiting) properties that can help people with headaches during an attack.
  • CBD for Arthritis: CBD has anti-arthritic, analgesic (pain-relieving) as well as anti-inflammatory properties and is therefore a great choice for people with arthritis.
  • CBD for Cancer: CBD helps relieve some symptoms of cancer as well as reduce the side effects of anti-cancer drugs like nausea, vomiting, and pain.
  • CBD for Epilepsy: CBD helps reduce the frequency and intensity of seizures in epilepsy patients and may also counteract some of the side effects of traditional AEDs.

So if pain, insomnia, stress or anxiety are impacting your daily life, I would highly recommend you check out Mission C products.

Mission C CBD Oil Taste

Whilst the most popular way to consume CBD is by using CBD tincture (oil), they often have a more earthy, nutty, woody or grass-like taste which is down to the fact the product is natural, safe, and non-toxic.

A Unique Flavour Profile

After taking Mission C 5% CBD oil for two weeks, it’s fair to say it has quite a unique flavour profile, especially when it is compared to other broad-spectrum CBD oils on the market.

The first thing we noticed is that their CBD oil is quite light, almost translucent, with a slight hint of yellow. A lighter colour profile often tends to suggest that the oil is more palatable, as some of the plant compounds have been removed. This was definitely the case here and Mission C oil has a very nice flavour profile indeed. As a broad-spectrum CBD oi, it is not too earthy or herbaceous.

It does however have a slightly different flavour profile with spicy notes when smelling and swallowing the oil, which is unlike any other CBD oils we’ve tried and tested. This could be explained by a few factors:

  • Broad-Spectrum Oil: As a broad-spectrum CBD oil, it went through an additional filtration process to remove the unwanted THC as well as some of the compounds such as plant waxes and the chlorophyll.
  • MCT Oil: CBD is usually mixed with hempseed oil, MCT oil or olive oil. MCT oil in particular tends to be more gentle on the palette.
  • Anti-Inflammatory Compounds: Their post-workout CBD oil is infused with natural occurring Black Pepper, Limonene and Turmeric to reduce inflammation and accelerate recovery. The Black Pepper and Turmeric definitely seem to give the oil this slightly unusual, yet pleasant flavour profile.

Regardless of the taste, we still think that CBD oil is the best way to consume CBD as it gets absorbed quickly into the bloodstream in comparison to other products such as CBD capsules or CBD gummies, which have to go through the digestive tract.

Mission C CBD Oil Value for Money

We were very pleasantly surprised when we saw how affordable Mission C oil is, especially since we’ve already established this is a very effective product when it comes to pain relief, muscle recovery, sleep or stress.

To put their pricing into perspective, let’s have a look at the price per mg or price per day and compare it to other CBD oils in our Top 10.

A person between 150 and 240 lbs may need between 20mg and 40mg of CBD per day depending on the severity of their symptoms. A 30ml bottle of their 5% CBD oil, which retails at £74.99, will therefore last between 37 and 75 days and cost between £1.00 and £2.00 per day (with free shipping), which we think is quite affordable.

So heavy CBD users will need to place an order every month, whilst mild users may be able to push this to 2.5 months.

Advantages of Mission C CBD Oil

Mission C CBD oil has many advantages over other CBD products such as CBD capsules or CBD gummies.

  • Increased bioavailability – One of the main advantages of CBD oil over other products is the fact that CBD oil increases bioavailability – which means the amount of product that can be directly used by your body. The faster the CBD is absorbed, the sooner it can get to work. Gummies and edibles will take some time to be processed and broken down by your digestive system, making oil the fastest way to gain the benefits of CBD. When placed under the tongue, it comes into contact with the sublingual gland which speeds up the process of absorption and quickly enters the bloodstream.
  • Easy to Consume – When taken orally, CBD oil is very easy to consume and it also gives you the ability to use doses of the exact strength required thanks to the individual droplets.
  • No Sugar – When CBD is used in the form of gummies, chocolate or other edible products, it may not be in the best health interests of the person to eat such products. For example, people suffering from diabetes will need to carefully manage the food that they eat, and therefore CBD oil may be a better option.
  • No addictive or withdrawal issues – Finally, CBD gummies are a natural remedy that can be taken by almost anyone and possesses none of the addictive or withdrawal issues that other pain management or anxiety medications may present.

Disadvantages of Mission C CBD Oil

Whilst there are mainly advantages in using CBD oil to get your daily dose of CBD using, there are unfortunately a few drawbacks which are worth considering.

  • Less Convenient – If you need to take CBD while in a public place, using CBD oil can be much less discreet than using edibles. While using CBD is not something that you need to hide, using a dropper to place the oil under your tongue may not be the most practical option when out an about, in which case capsules, gummies or other edibles may be preferred.
  • Interaction with other medications – It’s also worth noting that CBD may make it harder for your body to process certain medications, so if you are taking any other medications, be sure to check with your GP before taking CBD products.
  • Minor side effects – Finally, CBD can cause side effects in some people including drowsiness, changes in mood, nausea, and changes in appetite. Every individual will be affected differently, and in most cases, there are no side effects to worry about.

Mission C CBD Oil Dosage

CBD doesn’t have one-size-fits-all dosing and calculating a proper dosage of CBD can be tough as our bodies react to it differently.

The four major factors affecting your CBD dosage are:

  • Your weight
  • The condition being treated (i.e. depression, chronic pain etc)
  • The severity of your condition
  • The concentration of CBD oil

Most brands recommend customers start with the lowest dose and increase until they find the right serving size that fits their needs. The most common starting amount is between 10mg and 25mg. For anxiety and depression, the dose can vary from 20mg to 50mg or more.

As a rule of thumb, a person weighting between 10.5 and 17 stones (approximately 150 and 240 lbs) may need between 20mg and 40mg of CBD per day depending on the severity of their symptoms.

When using CBD for the first time, we would always recommend starting with a one of two drops of the 3% or 6% CBD oil placed under the tongue (sublingual) and holding it there for at least 30 seconds so it can absorb into the bloodstream.

Taking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to see how your body reacts to it is also recommended. If you are not seeing any major benefits with a single drop, increase your intake by a single drop every 2 or 3 days until finding the right balance to treat your personal symptoms.

How Many Drops of Mission Oil Should You Take?

Whilst it may be confusing at the beginning, it’s incredibly simple to work out how many drops of CBD oil you need to take depending on your daily requirements and the strength of the product you bought.

Most bottles of CBD oil contain 10ml of product and come in strengths ranging from 300mg to 2,400mg – also known as 3% and 24% CBD oils. This simply means that in a 1ml drop of the 300mg bottle, you will have 30mg of CBD, whilst the same 1ml of the 2,400mg bottle will give you 8 times that amount for a total of 240mg of CBD.

So assuming you need to hit 25mg of CBD per day with a 10ml bottle, you will need:

CBD / Bottle CBD / Drop # Drops
500mg 1.25mg 20 drops
1000mg 2.5mg 10 drops
1800mg 4.5mg 5.5 drops
2400mg 6.0mg 4 drops

Assuming you are using the 500mg CBD oil for a daily dose of 25mg, you will need to take approximately 20 drops per day (25mg divided by 1.25mg per drop). You could break this down throughout the day by taking 8 drops first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, 6 drops early afternoon and 6 drops at night before going to bed.

If however you bought the 2400mg CBD oil for a daily dose of 25mg, you would only need to take 4 drops per day (25mg divided by 6mg per drop), which you could also spread across the day – 2 in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.

As with everything, start with a small amount of CBD oil daily to make sure there’s no reaction, then increase slowly by a drop every 1-2 days until finding the right balance.

Quality CBD Products
“Quality CBD products. I have tried multiple brands and Mission C is certainly a favourite. The day & night oils, face moisturiser and the muscle balm have become part of my daily routine. Night oil has massively improved my sleep and I’m generally calmer and less anxious during the day. The skincare products I find are easily absorbed and non-greasy, leaving my skin moisturised and soft. I exercise a lot and the post-workout rub helps with any knots, plus cools down the area – it really makes a difference. Highly recommend treating yourself to the occasional lavender bath bomb as well, can’t recommend them enough.”
– Kosara

Great Product & Sustainable Packaging
“Love Mission C products, used the lavender bath bomb I got as a free gift when I was unwell & it helped me feel loads better. Using the night oil currently & I’m a big fan. Beautiful packaging, all paper of the deliver & very little plastic which I love.”
